I'm a Filipino-Canadian freelancer who formerly worked for CBC Quebec and hosted the The Extracurricular Podcast. I was previously the editor-in-chief of The Plant and an assistant producer at Symage Media.I also spent a decent amount of time drowning my Toronto Metropolitan University and Dawson College teachers with questions.I enjoy exploring different mediums such as writing, photo, video, audio, and graphic design to find new ways to tell stories.Lately, I've been been feeling existential about space stuff, frustrated about the Montreal Canadiens, and am focused on not blundering my chess endgames.

For many Canadians, the November snow storm of 2019 served as an early warning for impending winter doom. For first-year international student Mackenzie Paul, however, it was something much more different.

John Cordeiro believes he has the best job in the world. His hours are flexible, he walks to work everyday, and gets to clear out the golf range in a cool machine he calls the ball-picker. Great as these perks are, however, he says the best part about managing the range is that he gets to meet patrons and give them the best golf experience possible.
